WEEK IN IMAGES | FIELD NOTES.

A Visual Dairy

this week was mostly spent at home + in the studio finishing pieces that are now out in the world.

my work will be part of the Heart of the Home Tour with the Charlotte Symphony Guild this weekend + i’m the featured artist in Hill Rondero’s beautiful home. i feel really honored to be included + to also be a sponsor. thank you Hill for inviting me to share my art. 🖤

since i was deep in the making this week, i didn’t document the process the way i thought i might. which feels very on brand for me right now…. creating without capturing, but not really on purpose. a little 11th hour energy, always.

i’ll be sharing some footage once everything is installed + hopefully some behind the scenes captures too.

if you’re local, it’s happening this weekend.

xx,
michel

Loaded and heading to deliver my featured pieces.

Morning light streaming into our living room.

Noticing a backdoor moth moment.

I literally see shapes everywhere I go and these often show up in my art.

Little lovely signs of spring.
