A Visual Dairy

documenting the things that catch my eye has become one of my favorite creative practices. some people feel like it takes them out of the moment. for me, the act of taking a photo often trains me to actually look closer + notice all the little details. to really see. i can sometimes look back at a photo + be transported to that exact moment, thinking about where i was, the weather that day + the feeling i had. it’s kinda wild how memory + the senses work. life is beautiful like that.
